Here’s are my opinion for the following question about Social Media.

Questions:

1. How do you use social media as a tool or medium for communication? — Facebook can help you stay in touch when you otherwise would not. Time differences can make phone calls difficult to arrange, but Facebook can help you remain in their lives. In addition to communicating directly through posting and messaging, you can play games with them, making them seem closer no matter the distance. If you find that few people around you have similar interests, you can also use Facebook to connect with others around the country and world who do.

2. How did it affect or change the way you communicate with other people? — The we and the online media has definitely changed the way individuals all around the world associate and convey. Facebook enhances people’s ability to connect with others and form positive relationships with peers. This is the way that we improve bonding with others and strengthen relationship through social medias.

3. How did it affect the quality of information available to people? — Facebook do affect the quality and quantity of information. Most of facebook users share everything they want or every information that it is very shocking without verification. It affects the quality since most of the time “fake news” are everywhere and people trend to believe everything what they read or discover. In quality, lots of information is given and it is very hard to determine wether it is true or not. The quantity is at high because anyone can share and give their stand or opinion in a certain topic or situation.

4. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Why or why not? — It has both good and bad. But Facebook has negative impact on productivity and wage growth, distracting students and potentially causing users mental distress and giving rise to symptoms akin to substance abuse.
